One of the struggles I hear from a lot of parents is that YA fiction seems to contain more and more objectionable content and parents have less and less time to preview material. Wouldn’t it be nice to have help in that area? Author MJ Padgett thinks so too. That’s why she compiles an ezine that features clean fiction for young adult readers. My Kindle Vella story is featured in this month’s edition, but I’ve already added clean reads from her past issues to my tbr pile. Not only does she feature clean fiction, but she also writes clean YA fiction. I’ve read a couple of her Kindle Vella stories and I’m loving the characters in her contemporary YA title: I’m Pretty Sure I’m Gonna Hate You to Death Van St. Clair. I would love for you to check out my interview and then be sure to subscribe to her ezine and check out her books.

Congratulations, Stephanie! So happy for you!
Thank you. I’ve enjoyed connecting with other authors who write clean YA.
Thank you so much for letting us know about this e-zine! I have a lot of friends who are in their mid-late teens and they’re always looking for clean YA reads. I will definitely check this out for them!
You’re so welcome. I’m always looking for them too! So I was very happy to connect with this writing friend who collates this information.
Thanks for letting us know about this. It’s so hard to find newly published, decent books for teens.
It really is. This author and another author friend are partnering up to create a platform to display more clean YA. I’m so excited to support them in this endeavor. I’ll be sharing details about that as they roll out information.
